First, the owners (Raja and Kiran) are amazing and so easy to work with. Unlike other event halls, these owners are involved, and help you every step of the way. They go above and beyond for their clients and customers. Second, the food here. Oh my God. Words cannot begin to describe how good the food is here. I have my favorite Indian places in other cities, but nothing compares to the food at Miraj. I would have the food here as my last meal. that’s how good it is. The fish pakora, the MANGO LASSI (it’s so addicting!), the Paneer, Chicken, the Cauliflower balls, everything. The food here is perfection.Third, the Banquet Hall itself is so beautiful. Even with minimal decorations, the hall’s beauty is out of this world! The chandeliers are beautiful, and the carpet is equally beautiful. The lighting is wonderful as well.
My wedding was here last month in August. I booked out both halls-one for my ceremony/cocktail hour and the bigger hall for reception. This venue is absolutely stunning with it’s glamour and design. Raj created a custom package for me and my husband based on what we wanted. Anytime we went in for a meeting with Raj, he was very kind and served us sweets and tea. He is very pleasant. The day of, all hands were on deck. Chef Teddy was so nice and accommodating to our requests from the fancy food we wanted to the couple of specific guest food requests. His food is really Michelin star worthy! Thanks Chef!!! Robyn, the manager, was sooooo helpful and kind and took charge to make sure every single detail I wanted was accomplished. I don’t even know what I would have done without her. I had endless details and expectations and she blew it out of the water constantly reminding me to not worry and she will handle it. Every single one of my guests said this was the best wedding they had ever attended. Chef Teddy, I will miss the yummy food tastings. Not a single guest had a bad thing to say about the food and in fact said it was delicious-thank you for that-we had a tough crowd! Raj, thank you for having patience and in the end, delivering exactly what you said you would! My dearest Robyn, truly, thank you from my bottom of my heart for it all! I will never forget you!
I recently coordinated an American/Indian wedding here and I can’t say enough great things about them! Every single person I encountered was amazing from the Security Guard, Bartender, Robin the Banquet Coordinator, Service Staff EVERYONE was just great! Super helpful, positive, organized and fun! They had a plan if we didn’t but we accommodating to whatever we had scheduled or desired! The DJ, The BPR Crew, was one of the best I’ve EVER worked with! Professional, highly skilled, fun and read the crowd perfectly! We served Indian food, it was to die for! The spread was HUGE and no one was for want. Every detail was attended to! Coffee service, water, juices, full bar, teas, desserts with every course and even a non-Indian friendly table with nothing spicy at every course! Raj says that Love, the Chef, cooks non Indian food too! I would recommend this Hall to anyone looking for a full service venue! It’s not in an area you’d expect but the Hall is stunning and the service is impeccable!
Peter and Raj were great with working with my fiance and I because they were very accommodating and understanding that our religion was important to us. Unfortunately, our church wanted us to do extra steps and change the date, which Peter and Raj were willing to accommodate. However, when Raj realized our date was already booked they gave our full refund back. They treated us with great respect and hospitality.
